    • HOT TODDIES JAZZ BAND

THE HOT TODDIES JAZZ BAND are a fun-loving hot jazz & swing band from NYC. They have an eclectic mix of styles perfect for dancing, lindy hop, and good times!

The band has quickly become one of the top swing bands on the scene in NYC, the birthplace of the dance. They most recently headlined the beloved outdoor swing dance at Lincoln Center in front of over 2,000 people during “Summer for the City” (formerly Midsummer Night Swing) on July 6, 2023. This also was the pre-release of their debut full length album which came out on July 28th on all digital platforms. The album was not only praised by critics, but was on the Jazz Charts for 3 weeks, hitting #11 on the NACC Top 30 Jazz Chart, and was playing on over 50 radio stations nationwide this past summer.

Additionally they perform at top venues around town such as The Plaza Hotel, The Whitney Museum, The Public, The Players Club, The Montauk Club, and The Standard, among others. Their acclaimed weekly residency at GOTHAM JAZZ started in May 2022 and remains strong at the popular nightclub, Somewhere Nowhere, often pulling hundreds of guests per night. They also have performed at Prohibition Production’s sold-out Mardi Gras, Mad Hatter’s Ball and Gotham Jazz Festival (2019 and 2023); International Lindy Hop Championships “After Party”(ILHC 2022), the Cornell University Swing Weekend in 2022 & 2023, The Back Room (NYC’s last Prohibition-era speakeasy), among others.

With the release of The Hot Toddies' 2021 debut EP, their wacky music videos for "Dunkin Bagel" and “Five O’clock Coffee” both hit over 100k views on Facebook, while the band also has several videos with over 10k views on YouTube.

    • Tatiana Eva-Marie

Nicknamed “the Gypsy-jazz Warbler” by the New York Times and acclaimed as a “millennial shaking up the jazz scene” by magazine Vanity Fair, Tatiana Eva-Marie is a transatlantic bandleader, singer, and actress based in Brooklyn.
Though best known for her work leading the Avalon Jazz Band–a band with a Parisian “vintage” flair that has gathered over 70 million views on YouTube–her interests have led her to explore a wide range of musical styles, from 1930s pop to modern jazz. Tatiana Eva-Marie’s singing is always inspired by her own French and Balkan heritage; a love for the Parisian art scene era spanning the 1920s to the 60s; a passion for Gypsy music; a fascination for New Orleans music; and a deep connection to the Great American Songbook.
Through the lens of this musical kaleidoscope, she explores the music of Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet, Cole Porter, and other composers who were at the origins of French jazz, while adding her own original lyrics and arrangements to the mix.
In the past two years, Tatiana Eva-Marie has been expanding her touring across the United States and Europe, and building a devoted online following among jazz fans and music lovers worldwide. In 2024, Tatiana Eva-Marie will be premiering her first opera as a librettist in Switzerland in April and releasing her new album "Djangology" on GroundUp Music in June.
