Where is the Blue Note located?

The Blue Note is located at 131 West 3rd Street, between MacDougal Street and 6th Avenue, right in the heart of Manhattan’s Greenwich Village in New York City.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 6pm for 8pm shows and 10pm for 10:30pm shows (11:30am for 12:30pm shows and 2:00pm for 2:30pm shows for Sunday Brunches). Seating is first come, first come serve. We suggest you arrive early and with your full party, as we cannot guarantee that parties arriving separately or late (after 7:30Pm) will be seated at the same table.

Bar area seating is limited, with the rest of the capacity being standing room.

Do you require a minimum spend at the table?

There is a $20 minimum spend per guest required on all ticket types.

Do you seat incomplete parties?

Seating is first come, first served. Arrive early for the best seating available. We cannot guarantee that parties arriving separately or late will be able to be seated at the same table.

Can I purchase tickets from third-party resellers?

Tickets for Blue Note New York shows are only available for purchase on Ticketweb. We are not affiliated with any third-party sellers. Tickets purchased on third-party sites will not be honored. The credit card used for original purchase of tickets will be required at the door upon entry.

When should I expect my tickets to be delivered?

Tickets will be e-mailed to customers 2 days prior to the event. This is a security method installed to avoid scalping.

What is the capacity of the Blue Note New York?

Our capacity is 200.

Is there parking nearby? Do you validate?

There is parking available directly across the street from Blue Note New York at the Minetta Garage. You can also use www.primospot.com to search for local parking spaces. We do not provide parking or validate tickets.

What are my payment options?

American Express, VISA, MasterCard, JCB, Diners Club International. We accept Apple Pay for food and beverage purchases.

What if I cannot make my reservation?

All sales are final. As stated on all ticketing platforms and websites, we do not allow refunds or exchanges on tickets or merchandise unless a show has been postponed or canceled. Please ensure you are purchasing tickets for the correct date and time that you plan to attend Blue Note Jazz Festival.

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress-code; however, smart casual dress is recommended.

Is there an age restriction at your venue?

Our table seating is all ages. Seating at the bar is 21+. If you purchase a ticket for the bar and cannot show proof of ID, your tickets will not be honored, refunded or exchanged.

When is the gift shop open?

The gift shop is located on the 2nd Floor and opens at 6:00 p.m.

Is the club handicap accessible?

The first floor, where the stage is, is handicap accessible. Unfortunately the bathrooms are on the second floor and only accessible via the staircase. Guests in wheelchairs must contact the club at least one day in advance to arrange access and seating.

How do I reserve tickets for a group?

Can I take photographs at the show?

Club policy allows photos with no flash. Some artists do not allow photos at their concerts. The photo policy is announced nightly before the concert. No audio or video recording of any kind is allowed.

Can I purchase student tickets?

Student tickets are offered for select shows. To purchase a student ticket, you must buy tickets at the door before a show and provide a valid for of student identification. To find which shows have student tickets available, call our Box Office at 212.475.8592.

Do I need to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask inside?

We do not require proof of vaccination or the use of masks inside the venue.

Can I bring a birthday cake?

Yes, you can bring a cake. There is just a $10 per person charge.  We have desserts on the menu but we do not provide birthday cakes, singing, etc.
