  • Hawaiian Style Band

In the early '90s, Hawaiian Style Band, led by Bryan Kessler and Wade Cambern, redefined contemporary Hawaiian music. They are credited with launching a fresh musical perspective on local culture with original compositions about living Hawaiian style; island romance, talking story, 'ohana, and sovereignty. Kessler and Cambern are credited with writing & producing Hawaiian Style Band's first three albums and their interpretation of Hawaiian language songs reacquaints music fans with these important compositions and have resulted in multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards.

Recreating the magic, award winning and female voice of Hawai'i - Robi Kahakalau, joins the multi-talented Bryan and Wade in delivering this distinctive vocal harmony of Hawaiian Style Band in this exclusive and intimate show.

ABOUT THE HAWAIIAN STYLE BAND MUSICIANS

Robi Kahakalau, a multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winner, including Female Vocalist, is one of Hawai'i's most recognized and distinctive voices that has her highly sought after as featured guest vocalist more often than any Hawaiian recording artist.

While immediately recognizable as Robi's duet partner in on of Hawai'i’s most beloved songs, "Love and Honesty," Wade Cambern is a multi-nominated and award winning Nā Hōkū Hanohano musician, composer and lyricist who has collaborated with many of Hawai'i's iconic musical figures, including Israel Kamakawiwo'ole with whom he and Bryan cowrote "Living In A Sovereign Land."

As a highly respected Producer and guitar player, Nā Hōkū Hanohano winner Bryan Kessler has developed and performed on multiple albums in Japan and Hawai'i. He was also a contributor to the album, “Slack Key Volume 2” which earned Hawai'i its first Grammy Award.
