Hawaii's 2023 and 2019 Favorite Entertainer of the Year, Taimane, returns to her Waikīkī home, performing at Blue Note Hawai‘i for the first time in two years.

A four-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner, Taimane has taken the 'ukulele to places never previously seen or envisioned. With her recordings, she has broken down musical barriers using the four-string island staple to summon a full palette of emotions from songs ranging from classical to classic rock, flamenco infernos to tribal hymns. In addition, Taimane incorporates elements of dance, theater and cultural storytelling into her live performances keeping audiences' rapt attention and perched on the edge of their seats from start to finish.

So much of who I am today blossomed right here in Waikiki, the home where my musical roots began with many years as a keiki busking on Kalakaua Ave., leading Don Ho’s band through surf rock medleys, my first-ever residency at Hyatt Regency and my most-recent residency at Hyatt Centric. Waikiki is my forever home and while I couldn’t be more delighted to now play on stages all around the world, there truly is no place like home.
