KIMIÉ MINER is a Native Hawaiian mother, mentor, advocate and a full-time GRAMMY® nominated Producer, singer-songwriter, recording artist, Music Publisher. She is the Founder, President and CEO of HAKU COLLECTIVE, a full-service, multi-media talent production and management group founded in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. She has written and co-produced five award-winning albums including the GRAMMY®-nominated album, “Hawaiian Lullaby,” and most recently she produced “Children of the Sea - Nā Kama Kai” a full-length album from her free community mentorship program called MeleCraft BootCamp, dedicated to supporting aspiring young artists and honoring the Hawaiian culture and language. In 2018, she won the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards  for Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for her song “Bamboo,” and Female Artist of the Year at the Island Music Awards.
Her most recently released EP, “Christmas in Hawai’i” garnered the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for EP of the Year in 2022.

Kimié’s parents, who are of Hawaiian and Portuguese descent, noticed her affinity for music at a very young age, and at 14-years-old she taught herself to play guitar and began writing her own original songs. While attending Kamehameha Schools as a boarding student on Oʻahu, she honed her songwriting. She found inspiration in a wide range of music from Hawaiian, Jazz and R&B-influenced individuals such as Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Teresa Bright, India.Arie, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder and Eva Cassidy. While an undergraduate at the University of San Diego, Kimié embarked on her first west coast American tour at age 19 with reggae superstar Barrington Levy. Following the tour, Miner resided in Clarendon, Jamaica for a few months to write and work with Levy in the studio. Her songs often evoke the Hawaiian concept of the Piko: the “naval” or “center” which represents a home base to which one can always return.

I am “An Artist For Artists,” committed to cultivating a network of creatives while carving unprecedented opportunities for them to be heard. ~ Kimié Miner
