Tsutomu Nakai began playing taiko at the age of 3, and with a career spanning over 50 years, he opened a taiko school in Hawaii in 2012. He has composed music for taiko drum ensembles; you will enjoy his ensemble pieces as we transport you to a captivating world where Taiko, a traditional Japanese instrument without a melody line, merges with the beauty of Hawaiian nature. They promise to deliver an exciting night with Dragon Beat Taiko Hawaii, featuring super taiko juniors and teens, led by HONORI and KOKONE, who have honed their techniques over 12 years.
