Jazz in Waikiki With Christie Brooke

Christie Brooke is a retro soul & jazz artist.  From Kaneohe, she got her start on ABC's primetime hit TV show High School Musical: Get in the Picture hosted by Nick Lachey. She landed her first supporting role on film in Lionsgate's Midway Movie with Mandy Moore which earned the top spot at box office for the #1 movie in America.  She's performed live at The House of Blues on Sunset Strip, Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room, SoFar Sounds in NYC, the Aloha Stadium, and on KTUH Radio.  Christie Brooke's new self produced EP Blossom: Soul Sessions is out now on Spotify and Apple Music.  Her debut album called Miss Sunshine is set to release in 2024 with producer Patrick Breen.

Mindy Smokestack comes from Hamburg Germany with a powerful voice and healing energy cultivated through life’s struggles and triumphs. Growing up singing in church instilled her passion for soul music. Mindy’s vocal abilities create her eclectic sound blending Soul, Blues and modern Motown.

PraiseJesus Artis is a musician from Hale'iwa, Hawaii who tells stories through an array of genres. Her music aims to inspire kindness, love, and healing, with a goal to heal listeners one soul at a time.

A multi-faceted creative based in Hawaiʻi who has worked as the premier vocalist for groups like Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning Honolulu Jazz Quartet, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa jazz ensemble and the house band vocalist for the Hawai'i State Art Museum's monthly jazz event, "The Vibe". 

 As a singer-songwriter, they work as the resident hook singer for a local hip hop freestyle event called "The Workout", toasting on the mic at Honolulu's underground Rub-a-Dub parties, and a solo artist whose live performances and original music have been showcased by SoFar Sounds Honolulu and KTUH FM's Monday Night Live segment.
