See It All American Tour - Official World Record Attempt
    Devon Allman & Donavan Frankenreiter

50 shows in less than 50 Days

Rock n Roll recording artists and globe trotting journeymen, Devon Allman & Donavon Frankenreiter have their sights set on a World Record with their new SEE IT ALL TOUR 2023.

The concept is simple. The execution will be brutal….. 50 shows in all 50 American states in less than 50 days.  Like modern day Evel Knievel’s, the tour is going to test the wills of these road tested veterans at every turn.

For nearly four decades Donavon Frankenreiter has been travelling the globe, first as a professional surfer and now as a musician. With over a dozen albums under his belt, Frankenreiter has worked it on the touring trail worldwide for three decades. Donavon is a brand ambassador for Flying Embers as well as Sanuk Footwear and also co-owner of Humble Brands, Caddis Eyewear and several other companies.

Blues Music Award-winning singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer Devon Allman (son of Rock legend Gregg Allman) has appeared at the world’s biggest festivals and has co-founded the supergroups Royal Southern Brotherhood and The Allman Betts Band amassing a recording catalog of 11 albums. He writes a column for Guitar Player Magazine, is endorsed by Gibson guitars, and serves on the board of directors for the National Blues Museum.

The See it All Tour will take them to places they’ve never been, at a pace that’s never been done. Doing one set entirely together with a backing band, the duo will be playing songs off of their soon to be released collaborative EP titled “Rollers.” Be a part of music history and cheer on Team D&D. Let’s kick the tires and start the fires.

    • Devon Allman

Devon Allman’s life reads like that of the quintessential American troubadour. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, the singer-songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, and producer spent his early years dividing time between the Lone Star State, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri. Raised by his mother, Devon began playing music as a youth. He was 16 when he first met his father, Gregg.

Gregg invited Devon on the road with The Allman Brothers Band, during the group’s Dreamstour in the summer of 1989, where he first met ABB progeny, Berry Duane Oakley and Duane Betts. On many occasions, Devon would sit-in with the Brothers, often performing “Midnight Rider” alongside his father. Included among the many musical heavyweights Devon would join onstage throughout his career are Les Paul, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Billy Gibbons, Gov’t Mule, Blackberry Smoke, and Lukas Nelson.

He founded Devon Allman’s Honeytribe in 1999, recording two albums and touring the world intermittently over the next decade. In 2011, Devon paired with Cyril Neville to form Royal Southern Brotherhood. The supergroup released a trio of albums, won a Blues music award, and culminated their world tour with an appearance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Concurrently, Devon was cultivating a prolific solo career, issuing Turquoise in 2013 and Ragged & Dirty(2014), garnering widespread critical acclaim as well as top Billboard positions, including #1 on the Blues chart for 2016’s Ride or Die.

In 2017, Devon assembled the Devon Allman Project, commencing a 2018-19 world tour with Duane Betts as a special guest. Following that successful run, he and Betts announced the formation of the Allman Betts Band, reuniting with Oakley and recording their debut album at the famed Muscle Shoals studio.
    • Donavon Frankenreiter

Donavon Frankenreiter has been writing, recording and touring his music for 20 years. With over a dozen full-length record releases and hundreds of songs written, the traveling troubadour has become beacon for funkified jams, stylish stomps and feel-good grooves. From his surf-inspired serenades to classic blues-rooted funk, the Donavon is always evolving. It would seem he’s just getting started…

After a whirlwind of travel and months on the road touring, Donavon cruised his way back to the studio to get crackin’ on some brand new tunes. As the amps buzzed so did the excitement. His fresh collection of hand written scribbles on loose paper started to come to life before his eyes - manifesting themselves into 4 brand new tracks: “Them Blues”, “Boom Boom”, “Is It You” and “Could Be One of Those Days”.

With the creative mojo flowing and growing, Donavon decided to keep on the gas. In July 2019, he released a new album aptly titled “Bass & Drum Tracks”. Comprised of 16 songs (13 of his most beloved, classic tracks and 3 news ones) this assemblage of stripped-down jams gives the world a whole new way to get down, get creative and get into some good ol’ fashion Frankenreiter fun.

Equal parts inventive and inclusive, this new “Bass & Drums Tracks” record allows fans and music lovers all around the world become part of Donavon’s wondrous world in their own unique way. Whether you slay it on the saxophone, sing the blues or just toot on your trusty kazoo, there’s something on this record for you… Sing along! Play along! Start a band!

To celebrate this new selection of tunes, Donavon will be promoting the release of the album and the new songs by performing it LIVE on their upcoming tours. Like usual, he plans to go worldwide for months at a time. Only this time, Donavon is bringing his love for vinyl records out on the road like never before…

His long-time obsession with analog sound and vintage record players is making its way on stage! For “The Record Player Tour”, Donavon and his long-time right-hand man, Matt Grundy, will be playing their set as dynamic duo - with their trusty record placed between them. They’ll be dropping the needle themselves, LIVE in hi-fi, spinning the analog bass and drums on wax as their backing “band”. It’s the sort of special twist that you don’t want to miss…

“We love vinyl records so much and are complete addicts when it comes to vintage players… that’s how this whole idea came to me”, beams Donavon. “I thought, why can’t we make an album available where people can jam along to it and we can also play to it LIVE too?“
