    Henry Kapono is back to share the stage with some of Hawai`i’s most diverse and talented musical entertainers, shining the spotlight on the emerging talent On the Rise here in the islands, followed by some of the most Iconic Musical Legends in Hawaiʻi (Jerry Santos, Keola Beamer, The Makaha Sons, & Brother Noland).  Henry will “jam” and “talk story” one-on-one with each artist, giving the audience insight into the spirit and aspirations of the person/people behind the music.

      Native Hawaiian and GRAMMY® nominated, Henry Kapono is a multiple award-winning vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and composer. Henry is one of Hawaii’s most popular recording artists and presides over Kapono Inc, one of Hawaii's top multi-function entertainment companies. He is equally known for his community support and philanthropic endeavors recently launching the “The Henry Kapono Foundation” in 2018 whose mission is to "Support the community through music and the arts and by giving with Aloha."
    • Makaha Sons

      The Mākaha Sons are considered to be one of Hawai‘i’s premier Hawaiian music groups. The Sons have won multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, and were also inducted into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame. For 45 years, The Mākaha Sons continue to perpetuate traditional Hawaiian music in Hawai‘i and throughout the world. Their incomparable vocal arrangements and delightful stage presence is filled with comical antics that have won the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide. Their distinct sound, which is rich and full, blends harmonies that only they can create.

      Their legacy persists with founding member and front-man, Jerome Koko on vocals and 12-string guitar,  Kimo Artis on vocals and electric bass, and Hanale Kaʻanapu on vocals and 6-string guitar. This extremely talented trio creates a magic of iconic sounds; full of syrupy, boldness of harmonies, melodic intricacies of tones, and  breathtakingly, memorable songs. They have released 22 CDs and produced a DVD on their own record label. The Sons have also produced their own signature concert, "Take a Walk in the Country," in Hawaii for many years.

    • Ryan Perez

      Raised between North Carolina and Hawaiʻi, Ryan’s initial passion was sports, earning some of the highest amateur golf titles in the state of Hawaiʻi, including his most prized title of Hawaiʻi's #1 Amateur Golfer in 2009 and a full golf scholarship at U.H. However, when a friend reached out for help with his company, Ryan found his passion for music and started playing live gigs. Ryan took this new-found passion with him as he served eight years inthe U.S. Coast Guard, booking entertainment gigs in each area he was stationed. Performing became addictive, and today, Ryan plays across Oʻahu. Audiences are drawn to the positive energy and healing message in hisReggae, Soul, and R&B musical style
