  • Henri Herbert

Henri Herbert - The King of Boogie & Blues Piano

With 150 million video views, over 200,000 social followers and a rock n’ roll soul, Henri Herbert delivers boogie and blues like no other. The former stevedore and boxer performs a visceral, timeless show of classic covers and original songs featuring piano and vocals inspired by the great American boogie and blues pianists of the 20th century, not only keeping this unique form of American music alive and well, but also advancing it forward.

Born and raised in the UK and now living in Nashville, Henri became instantly hooked on boogie and blues piano at an early age upon hearing a Memphis Slim record. Henri has immersed himself in the sound and history of the music ever since and shared it with people around the world.

Henri first found the spotlight as a member of the mega-popular UK band, The Jim Jones Revue, playing big, aggressive Detroit-influenced rock at many of the largest festivals on the planet (Glastonbury, Rock en Seine, etc.) and making a memorable appearance on Late Night with David Letterman. Since the disbandment of the group, Henri has focused on his solo career regularly touring Europe and America and recording a series of boogie and blues piano albums including his standout “Boogie Woogie Piano” record, as well as releasing a pedal-to-the-metal concert album, “Live at Gypsy Hotel” featuring his rockabilly outfit “Henri Herbert and The Fury."

7 Pairs of Iron Shoes - Honolulu Rock n’ Roll

7 Pairs of Iron Shoes is a powerhouse rock n’ roll band that writes and performs original music, proven to put smiles on faces and fists in the air. Headed up by singer, guitarist and songwriter ‘Andy 7 Pairs,’ the band’s sound and demeanor transport listeners to the 1970’s when artists like Bruce Springsteen, Warren Zevon and Southside Johnny fronted ensembles rooted in authenticity and heart. It ain’t flashy and contains not even a hint of schtick - just great songs that tell it like it is while rockin’ and groovin’ hard.

Have a listen to 7 Pairs of Iron Shoes’  “Slip of the Pen” album or watch Jake Shimabukuro host a solo performance by ‘Andy 7 Pairs’ to see what we’re talkin’ about.

The Band: Andy 7 Pairs (lead vocals, guitar), Robbin Henley (guitar, vocals), Jack Tawil (drums), Ernie Ecraela (bass), Louie Miller (keyboards).
