Celebrate the holidays with a rare, hometown concert by Hawai‘i’s own Taimane, four-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner, including two-time Favorite Entertainer of the Year. The internationally acclaimed ‘ukulele virtuoso, singer, songwriter and producer returns to our stage Saturday, November 29 at 3 PM for a special holiday weekend matinee - her first Blue Note show in over a year.
Fresh from a landmark summer during which Taimane wowed 25,000 fans at two concerts with 17-time Grammy-Award-Winner San Francisco Symphony, Taimane continues to push the ‘ukulele to new heights and garner new fans worldwide with her genre-bending style that blends island soul, flamenco fire and cinematic flair. Her six singles released this year have demonstrated her breadth and depth while earning international acclaim.
