Licorice performs as a dynamic live force with David Lott (guitar, vocals), Matt Epstein (bass) and Josh Bloom (drums, vocals) at the core. The Brooklyn based rock outfit has displayed their musical chops in a variety of settings including the world famous stages of The Blue Note, The Knitting Factory, The Bowery Ballroom, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and The Telluride Jazz Festival. They’ve shared the stage with legends and contemporaries, including: Larry Coryell, Mike Dillon, DJ Logic and Roy Hargrove. The band offers up complex originals, jazz standards and fusion odysseys with their inimitably cohesive and delicate touch. The band is known for redefining the power trio format that has long been one of Rock’s most solid cornerstones.
