Philly Reunion

An exclusive reunion only at Blue Note, New York City. World-renowned musicians Christian McBride, Joey DeFrancesco, Lil' John Roberts and Kurt Rosenwinkel share the stage, music and memories of where it all began, the city of brotherly love.

Philadelphia has produced an array of accomplished musicians over the years, back in the 80’s four prodigious teenagers were well on their way. McBride, DeFrancesco and Rosenwinkel attended The Highschool for Creative and Performing Arts along with other young talents that would soon blow up on the music scene themselves. During their teenage years Roberts, DeFrancesco and McBride united to form the All City Philadelphia Jazz Trio, they would go on to compete and win numerous high school competitions across the country. Before graduating DeFrancesco signed his first recording contract with Columbia and was touring with Miles Davis, in Philadelphia it was no secret and well known that each of the young talented enthusiasts would carry on becoming music icons themselves.

Today, some thirty plus years later, bassist Christian McBride, organist / multi-instrumentalist Joey DeFrancesco, guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel and drummer Lil John Roberts are considered this generations most respected and sought-after musicians on their instrument of choice, each touring and recording internationally with their own bands as well as a long list of music industry legends that cross all genres from Jazz, R&B, Hip-hip, Country, and Rock & Roll.
