Legends whose fingerprints are all over some of the most iconic records ever made.

    Abandoned Jukebox brings together an extraordinary group of musicians whose playing has shaped the sound of countless recordings, films, television shows, and live performances. Presented by KCRW, this special evening offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience these legendary musicians not behind the scenes, but together on one stage— an all-star lineup of musicians whose collective credits span decades of popular music and some of the most recognizable recordings and soundtracks ever made.

    Dean Parks 
    One of the most versatile and in-demand guitarists in the recording world, Dean Parks has contributed his distinctive playing to an extraordinary range of recordings across pop, rock, jazz, film, and television. His precision, musicality, and ability to serve a song have made him one of the most respected session guitarists of his generation.

    George Doering 
    A prolific guitarist and stringed-instrument specialist, George Doering is one of Hollywood’s most sought-after recording musicians. His work encompasses major motion pictures, television scores, and recordings with some of the world’s most celebrated artists. Equally at home with traditional and contemporary sounds, Doering brings an expansive sonic palette to the ensemble.

    Steve Lindsey 
    Steve Lindsey is a profoundly accomplished and successful producer, keyboardist, arranger, and recording musician whose work spans popular music, film, television, and the studio world. His deep musical vocabulary and instinctive ability to support and elevate an arrangement make him an a legend.

    Jim Cox 
    Jim Cox is one of the most respected keyboard players and studio musicians working across music, film, and television. Known for his versatility and exceptional musicianship, Cox has performed on an enormous range of recordings and scores, bringing everything from classic keyboard textures to virtuosic improvisation to the music.

    Sean Hurley 
    Sean Hurley is a celebrated bassist whose playing can be heard throughout contemporary popular music. A first-call session musician, Hurley has worked with an extraordinary roster of artists and producers, earning a reputation for his deep groove, musical sensitivity, and ability to make every performance feel effortless.

    Charlie Faragher 
    Charlie Faragher is a versatile drummers, song writer and longtime recording musician and film composer. His work spans albums, film, television, and live performance.

    Bernie Dresel 
    Bernie Dresel is an acclaimed drummer whose career encompasses jazz, pop, film, television, and some of the world’s most demanding recording environments. Renowned for his precision, power, and versatility, Dresel provides the rhythmic foundation for an ensemble filled with musicians accustomed to playing at the highest level.
