Seven Suns is a collective of seven diverse souls: artists, producers, engineers, backup musicians and musical directors. Their story is one of humility, gratitude and grit — of brothers choosing to step into the light and chase their dreams together. Seven Suns brings the fire of the underdog to music that holds nothing back. As individuals, they have fortified the backbone of Hawai‘i’s music scene for years. Now, as Seven Suns, they’ve ignited something uniquely their own — a sun-soaked blend of reggae, world pop and R&B influences that redefines what it means to be a band from Hawai‘i.  The band spotlights nuanced musicality and energetic grooves that weave vintage nostalgia and modern pop dynamics. Informed by a depth of lyricism that is both impressionable and relatable, their songs speak to the heart while carrying their Oceanic heritage to the world stage. Seven Suns’ debut album “Many Feathers” won six Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards in 2025, including Reggae Album of the Year. It reflects on their journey in music, their experiences through love and loss and their mission statement: to find courage in purpose and inspire progress in unity.  Since debuting, Seven Suns’ versatile sound has created wide-reaching opportunities, allowing them to open for artists from a diverse range of genres. They have been featured as support for Maoli, The Green, Third World, Allen Stone, Teddy Swims and Durand Jones & the Indications, among others. Additionally, they’ve toured alongside international artists Collie Buddz and Stan Walker and collaborated with beloved voices in reggae: FIA, Mike Love, Cas Haley, Mihali and Claire Wright. 2026 will see the release of their second full-length album and live performances that document continued growth as they connect with fans on Hawaiian soil and across the globe. For Seven Suns, this is not just the rise of a band, but of a family — and they’re inviting the world to rise with them.
