    Grab your Lederhosen, we’re celebrating 40 years of Chamber Music Hawaii with our first-ever Oktoberfest! The Honolulu Brass Quintet brings the festivities to life with an evening of polkas, singalongs and more, including “Ein Prosit” and “Beer Barrel Polka.” And of course, Oktoberfest wouldn't be complete without German menu specials and beer.     • Honolulu Brass Quintet

      Since its inception in 1976, the Honolulu Brass Quintet has been in demand throughout Honolulu and the state of Hawai‘i for all kinds of special occasions ranging from church services to private parties, from graduations to in-school performances. As one of three ensembles that make up Chamber Music Hawai‘i, the quintet continues to play full length brass quintet performances in Honolulu, in Palikū Theatre on the Windward side, and at University of Hawai‘i West Oahu on the Leeward side. All of its members are full-time professional musicians who perform regularly as members of the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra, providing the highest level of musical artistry to the state of Hawai‘i.

    • Chamber Music Hawaii

      Founded in 1982, Chamber Music Hawai‘i is the state’s leading presenter of local, professional chamber musicians. CMH presents resident, professional chamber ensembles in concert, and free educational programs in schools, community centers, libraries, and other venues each year on all six Hawaiian islands. With four different ensembles, CMH offers a wide variety of programming throughout its season. 

      The mission of Chamber Music Hawai‘i is to enrich our community’s cultural life and promote appreciation and understanding of chamber music by presenting resident professional chamber music ensembles in concerts for the public and educational outreach programs for schools and under-served communities.
