Where is the Blue Note located?

The Blue Note is located at 131 West 3rd Street, between MacDougal Street and 6th Avenue, right in the heart of Manhattan’s Greenwich Village in New York City.

Where can I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets online at www.bluenotejazz.com. You can also call in or buy tickets in person at the box office. Everyone needs a ticket to enter the club.

When should I expect my tickets to be delivered?

Tickets will be e-mailed to customers 48 hours prior to the event. This is a security method installed to avoid scalping.

What time should I arrive? How does the seating arrangement work?

Doors open at 6pm for 8pm shows and 10pm for 10:30pm shows (12:00pm for 1:30pm shown on Sunday Brunches). Seating is always first come, first come serve. No exceptions. We suggest you arrive early and with your full party, as we cannot guarantee that parties arriving separately or late (after 7:30PM) will be seated at the same table.

Bar area seating is limited, with the rest of the capacity being standing room.

Do you seat incomplete parties?

How do I reserve tickets for a group?

Parties of 8 or more are required to reserve a group sales package with our team. Contact club@bluenote.net.

What if I cannot make my reservation?

All sales are final. As stated on all ticketing platforms and websites, we do not allow refunds or exchanges on tickets or merchandise unless a show has been postponed or canceled. Please ensure you are purchasing tickets for the correct date and time that you plan to attend Blue Note Jazz Festival.

Can I purchase tickets from third-party resellers?

Tickets for Blue Note New York shows are only available for purchase on Ticketweb. We are not affiliated with any third-party sellers. Tickets purchased on third-party sites will not be honored. The credit card used for original purchase of tickets will be required at the door upon entry.

Do you offer student discounts?

Student tickets are offered for select shows. To purchase a student ticket, you must buy tickets at the door before a show and provide a valid form of student identification. To find which shows have student tickets available, call our Box Office at 212.475.8592.

Is the club handicap accessible?

The first floor, where the stage is, is handicap accessible. Unfortunately the bathrooms are on the second floor and only accessible via the staircase. Guests in wheelchairs must contact the club at least one day in advance to arrange access and seating.

For ADA seating requests, please advise if the wheelchair user will be remaining in the wheelchair for the entire show, or if they will be seated on our table chairs.

Is there an age restriction at your venue?

Our table seating is all ages. Seating at the bar is 21+. If you purchase a ticket for the bar and cannot show proof of ID, your tickets will not be honored, refunded or exchanged.

What is the capacity of the Blue Note New York?

Our capacity is 200.

Do you serve dinner during the shows?

We are a full-scale restaurant. Our menu is upscale American Continental. We also have a full bar with premium liquors and domestic and international beer. You can drink and eat while watching a show at a table or at the bar. We serve a full menu at all of our concerts. Our menu is available on-line at  https://www.bluenotejazz.com/nyc/menu/
In addition to the menu online, we also offer a fine selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.

Do you require a minimum spend at the table?

There is a $20 consumption minimum for each show for Table Seating and/or a one drink minimum for the Bar Area.

Can I bring my own bottle?

Customers can bring their own wine bottle but there is a corking fee of $35.

Can I bring a birthday cake?

There is a $30 charge if they bring their own cake, which will be charged at the end of the night with their bill. We have desserts on the menu but we do not provide birthday cakes, singing, etc.

What is the camera policy?

Club policy allows photos with no flash. Some artists do not allow photos at their concerts. The photo policy is announced nightly before the concert. No audio or video recording of any kind is allowed. kind is allowed.

Is there a dress code?

There is no dress-code; however, smart casual dress is recommended.

Is there parking nearby? Do you validate?

There is parking available directly across the street from Blue Note New York at the Minetta Garage.
We offer special pricing for anyone attending a show:

$35 up to 3 hours. 
$45 up to 4 hours

Tickets need to be validated at the front desk upon leaving the venue to access this special pricing.

What are my payment options?

American Express, VISA, MasterCard, JCB, Diners Club International. We accept Apple Pay for food and beverage purchases.

When is the gift shop open?

The gift shop is located on the 2nd Floor and opens at 6:00 p.m. Our merchandise is also available online: https://shop.bluenotejazz.com/

Do you sell gift cards?

We have gift cards available at the Gift Shop located on the 2nd floor. These have to be purchased in person and can be redeemed towards food, beverages and/or gift shop items. They are not redeemable for tickets.
