Vickie Natale

Vickie's music combines soul, pop and R&B. She was crowned the CBS Star Search Grand Champion in 2004. Receiving 5 star approval from judges Naomi Judd, Ben Stein, Ahmet Zappa and Mc Lyte, she breezed through the competition, which was viewed by over 9 million viewers. Vickie was teaching music at the Mark Twain JHS during her appearance on CBS and returned home to a classroom of proud students. After her win on Star Search Vickie was signed to a development deal with Sony Records. However, due to artistic differences the music was never released.

Vickie was invited to be a cast member on the 2nd season of Star Search and work with Ron Fair on the release of her single "Like no other". In 2005 after much frustration with the music industry she used part of her winnings from Star Search to independently release her album "Never Gonna Stop". It was her musical way of saying she would keep going despite the challenges with record labels. It includes the song "Forbidden love" co-written and produced by Narada Michael Walden.

Her mentor the late Nick Ashford has coined her "little Aretha" and said he knew from the first time he heard Vickie on stage at his club the Sugar Bar that she had something special. Valerie Simpson also has said Vickie has amazed her with her ability to continually culminate herself as an artist.

In May of 2004 she made her Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra under the direction of Skitch Henderson and has as opened for such acts as Reba McIntyre, Deborah Cox and Ashford & Simpson. Vickie has toured China, Japan and the US to support the release of "Never Gonna Stop.” Vickie was also featured on the test pilot of the CW networks music show “The Next.” where she was mentored by Gloria Estefan, Queen Latifah and John Rich.

Her new Retro Soul Pop album produced by David Veslocki is now available on Itunes, Spotify and
