A: There is no dress-code; however, smart casual dress
is recommended.

www.bluenote.net
or by calling (212) 475-8592. All purchased tickets are
will-call. We will have your name on our list when you

Q: How do I buy tickets as a gift or for a
friend?
A: When you are buying tickets, enter the name of the
attendee on the "YOUR INFORMATION" page. On the purchase
page, where you enter credit card information, you can
purchase the tickets with any credit card you like.
Q: Do you serve food and drinks?
A: We are a full-scale restaurant. Our menu is American
Continental. We also have a full bar with all premium
liquors and domestic and international beer. You can
drink and eat while watching a show at a table or at the
bar. Our menu is available
on-line.
Q: Is food available at the bar?
A: Yes. The full menu is available at the bar nightly.
Q: Is food available at the Late Night Groove
Series and brunch?

& Saturdays. The brunch menu is a prix-fixe deal at
$39.50 that includes music, an entree, and 1 drink.

Q: When are concerts?
A: 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. nightly. The Late Night Groove
Series is at 12:30am (midnight), Friday and Saturday
nights. Sunday brunch concerts are at 11:30 a.m. and
1:30 p.m. Show times are subject to change without
advance notice.
Q: Can I take photographs at the show?
A: Club policy allows photos with no flash. Some
artists do not allow photos at their concerts. The photo
policy is announced nightly before the concert. No audio
or video recording of any kind is allowed.
Q: What can I do if table seats are sold out to
a concert I want to see?
A: The bar area is always first come, first served, so
you can try for a seat or standing room. Closer to show
time, if we have empty seats, those seats may be made
available to people at the bar.
Q: What time should I arrive? What is your
seating policy?
A: All seating is first come, first served. We recommend arriving as early as possible to get the best seats and/or order food before your show begins. For the 8PM concerts, doors open at 6PM. For 10:30PM concerts, doors open at 9:45PM. We recommend arriving when the doors open, especially for high-demand shows. Reservations will be held up to 30 minutes before the show begins, after that time your seats may be given away. Door times are subject to change without advance notice.
Q: Do you seat incomplete parties?
A: Yes. As long as a member of your party has arrived,
they can hold the table.
Q: But sometimes I see "Reserved" tables at the
club. How do I get one of those?
A: We have American Express preferred seating, which is
available in limited quantity, online when purchasing
tickets. Occasionally, band guests, members of the
press, large parties, and other VIPs will also have
reserved seats.
Q: Is there a student discount?
A: Student discounts are available Sunday through
Thursday at the 10:30 p.m. concerts only, limited to
availability, with valid student ID. Limited to
availability means we cannot grant student discounts to
sold-out shows, certain artists, and concerts of certain
outside promoters. Please call the club to check if a
student discount will be available.
Q: Can I avoid the service charge if I come to
the club in person?
A: You can either reserve seats online at
www.bluenote.net or by calling (212) 475-8592. No
physical tickets are sold; guests pay a music cover
after each show. No reservations are made at the bar.
Q: There is an empty date on your calendar. Are
you open? Who's playing?
A: We are open 365 days a year, with at least 2
concerts per night. If a date on the calendar is empty,
it means an artist is not confirmed yet. Keep an eye on
the calendar or sign up for our mailing list to stay
up-to-date.
Q: When is the gift shop open?
A: The gift shop is open from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00
midnight daily. Sundays it opens at 11:30 a.m.
Q: Is the club handicap accessible?
A: The first floor, where the stage is, is handicap
accessible. Ufortunately the bathrooms are on the second
floor and only accessible via the staircase.
