The exact origins of Kith & Kin, Napa Valley’s traditional Irish band for more than thirty years, are lost in the mist of time and the foam of Guinness. Some say the Irish mythical hero, Cuhullin, appeared to the group’s founder and guiding spirit, the late, great John Kelley of St. Helena with the names and phone numbers of prospective members Ann Gilleran, Kathi Brotemarkle, Linda Howard, Ron Brunswick, and Michael Waterson. Others who’ve had less to drink say that’s a lot of blarney.
Come see them perform jigs and reels, hornpipes and ballads in a warm up for St. Patrick’s Day.
BLUE NOTE NAPA is on the 1st floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House and is an intimate 183-seated live music club and restaurant. World-class and local Bay Area artists perform here.
