    An evening of original songs played alongside some of their greatest covers and reinterpretations. Whether it’s Mary J. Blige covering Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan covering Prince or Earth, Wind and Fire choosing to remake The Beatles, some of the greatest tunes have been reimagined and remade throughout music history and we will be selecting some of our favorites throughout the evening. Soul, Jazz, Funk, R&B, Pop, Rock & Reggae on vinyl, all night.

     
    The Get Down is a local’s night unlike any other in Napa! Resident DJs Odin & Platurn have toured the world unearthing amazing music and twice a month bring a selection of their collections to our dance floor, celebrating music from the 1960s up to the present day. They create a music theme or are joined by a rotation of special guest DJs.
    Kitchen is open until 9:30 PM

    Napa County Locals:
    Upon presentation of a Napa County ID, tickets do not need to be purchased. However, purchased tickets will guarantee you have a seat in the location you prefer.

    Non-Napa County Local:
    Tickets will need to be purchased.

    BLUE NOTE NAPA is on the 1st floor of the historic Napa Valley Opera House and is an intimate 180-seated live music club and restaurant. World-class and local Bay Area artists perform here. Before and during the show, we offer a sophisticated dinner menu and a wide selection of wines and cocktails to order.

    Floor Tables: Table Seating on the floor. Pairs sat opposite each other (dark blue)
    High Bar: Great view! Tall chairs with padded seats, sat side by side (bright blue)
    Center Platform: Elevated viewing section with good sight lines. Tall table & Chair seating. Pairs sat opposite each other (light blue)

    ADA for those that require accessible seating. Companions purchase Floor Table. (dark blue)

    • DJ Odin

      DJ Odin was born and raised in London, England on a diet of Punk, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Reggae and Dancehall. His first DJ residency started at just 17 years old at the legendary Black Sheep Bar. He was also a resident at The Get Down, London’s ever popular and now longest running weekly club night! Over the following 2 decades he went on to spin in bars, clubs, arenas, stadiums and festivals across Europe and North America. Some highlights include Glastonbury, iTunes Festival, Notting Hill carnival, Staples Centre LA, Barclays Centre Brooklyn, YouTube HQ, X Factor Italy, Canada VMAs, Cannes film festival and Ibiza.

      His skills on the turntables have seen him tour DJ for numerous multiple platinum recording artists as well as appearing on Good Morning America in NY and The Late Late show in LA.

    • DJ Platurn

      A 28 year veteran of the music industry, Platurn has traveled the world many times over bringing quality music to multiple corners of the globe. With a client list that includes Red Bull, Netflix, Toyota, HBO, Adidas, Pixar, Puma, Hulu, Monster Cable, MTV, and the Golden State Warriors (to name a few), he’s built a reputation as a music man with vision plus a deep sense of community, and in turn preserving crucial aspects of DJ and music culture. Founder of Platurn Productions, The 45 Sessions, & the Oakland Faders, Platurn has solidified himself as a force to be reckoned with in the ever changing entertainment industry landscape.

    • THE GET DOWN Featuring Vinyl DJs

      A night of DJs & record collectors spinning the finest Funk, Soul, Jazz, Blues and Rare Grooves on vinyl comes to the Blue Note Napa. DJ Residents Odin & Platurn develop themed musical evenings or will be joined by a rotation of some of the best DJs from the Bay Area and beyond, sharing music from their collections, gathered from decades of digging for records around the world.   
       This mid week mixer is served up alongside food and drink specials so come together and GET DOWN!
