Ziggy Zeitgeist
Jazz fusion with club instincts.
Ziggy Zeitgeist came through Melbourne’s 30/70 collective before moving to Berlin, where he brought jazz players and club culture together in Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange. He leads from the drum kit, shaping house, broken beat, funk and disco into music made to move a crowd.
A groove can hold long enough to draw everyone in, then change direction as the players respond to one another. It has the momentum of a DJ set and the freedom of a jazz band, with Ziggy driving every turn.
This show also features special guest producer, DJ and curator, Esa Williams.
