A nu-jazz landmark, rebuilt live.
Jazzanova’s 2002 debut In Between helped redraw the lines between jazz, broken beat, soul and electronic music, pairing intricate sampling with live instrumentation long before that collision became commonplace.
Now the Jazzanova Live Band, joined by Wayne Snow, takes the record back into the room, reconstructing its sample-built world through drums, bass, keys, horns and vocals.
Music made in the sampler, returned to the hands of musicians.
Future soul with Lagos roots and Berlin instincts.
Nigerian-born, Berlin-based Wayne Snow moves through soul, jazz, Afrobeat and electronics with a light, expressive vocal that sits naturally inside Jazzanova’s world.
He brings that same balance of warmth and futurism to Jazzanova's In Between live.
