J.PERIOD’s resume boasts collaborations with GRAMMY® winners The Roots, Nas, Mary J. Blige, Q-Tip, Common, Ms. Lauryn Hill, comedic genius Dave Chappelle, and Pulitzer Prize-winning Playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda on the Billboard #1 album, The Hamilton Mixtape.

As a performer, J.PERIOD’s acclaimed “Live Mixtape” series has been featured at The Roots Picnic, Barclays Center, The Kennedy Center, Smithsonian NMAAHC, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Sony Hall NY, recording one-of-a-kind mixtapes live on-stage with Hip Hop legends including Black Thought, Rakim, Mos Def, Rick Ross, Mobb Deep and more. In 2021, J.PERIOD was featured as the musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performing “All In Your Head” feat. Black Thought, Tiffany Gouché & Dave Chappelle from his debut album, Story To Tell (Chapter One).
In 2023, J.PERIOD is slated to perform at venues including: Lincoln Center, Smithsonian NMAAHC, Roots Picnic, Blue Note Jazz Club and more, in celebration of Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary.
